The silleteras and silleteros are the main characters of the Flower Fair, a festival celebrated during the month of August in the Paisa capital. During the celebration, rows and rows of men and women parade carrying large flower arrangements on their backs on a saddle.
The illustration shows the richness and biodiversity of the flowers of the Antioquia region, specifically Santa Elena, a peasant population dedicated to the cultivation of flowers, and the place of origin of this expression. This fair is one of the symbols of Colombian cultural heritage that you cannot miss when you get to know Colombia.
This metal print is a dimensional and high-quality piece of art that stands the test of time while remaining easy to clean and care for. The artwork looks luminescent against the wall and the metal base means it’ll last a long time.
